We had such a lovely time at this property and apartment. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming, clean, and thoughtfully equipped. It truly exceeded our expectations—even better than the photos!
One of the unexpected highlights was the delightful breakfast served each morning. We had anticipated just cakes, but were pleasantly surprised to receive a generous spread including eggs, ham, cheese, yoghurt, and of course, a selection of fresh cakes. It was a perfect start to each day.
The lady who served us breakfast was an absolute gem—always warm, cheerful, and going above and beyond to ensure we were well looked after. Her kindness genuinely made our stay even more enjoyable.
We stayed for four days and honestly wished we had booked for longer. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and there was plenty to see and do in the surrounding area—even more so if you're happy to drive for about an hour. The location strikes a great balance between peaceful retreat and access to interesting attractions.
The free parking was a great bonus, and the internet connection was far better than our own—fast and reliable, which was much appreciated.
If we had to make any small suggestions, we would have loved a mattress topper to soften the bed a bit (I found it a touch too firm, though my partner was perfectly comfortable). One of the beds had a mattress topper but the other didn't. It would also be great to have additional lamps and lights to create more ambient lighting in the apartment which we found necessary for cooking our dinner. But these are very minor points in an otherwise exceptional stay.
A huge thank you goes to the lady who made us coffee and breakfast each morning.
