We stayed in a cabin in the woods at the far end of the campsite. It was peaceful, private, and offered a beautiful view of the lake.
We were there from Sunday to Tuesday, and the site was very quiet—almost felt like we had it to ourselves, with just a few other guests around.
The lake was lovely, with clean water and easy access for swimming or relaxing by the shore.
There are plenty of spots for barbecuing and making campfires, which added to the experience.
The site also offers a variety of activities at an extra cost—we tried the hot tub next to our cabin, which was a great way to unwind.
Lastly, the hosts were lovely and very welcoming. We will happily come back and hopefully stay longer next time.

Great location for scenery. Great for swimming & rowing in the lake. Lovely open space for children to play. Had to pay extra supplement for hot tub but it was very good. Small sandpit and swing was good for children but it needed a tidy and clean.
Facilities were poor. Beds squashed in to bedrooms. Kitchen had no sink so had to clean dishes in bathroom. Place was not cleaned to a high standard. We were given pillow cases, duvet covers and sheets but had to make up and undress our own beds. Owner’s Alsatian dog was roaming freely in the grounds and scared our young children. Toilet & shower block needed a clean.
