A lot of steps up to apartment for older guests.

The location can't be beat! You are right at the Porta Nigra Gate and directly above the Trier Christmas Market. You are easily in walking distance from all major sights in Trier. The apartment was spacious and our family of 4 had plenty of room to spread out and play games in the kitchenette. If you do book this apartment, be aware it is on the top floor, so be ready to climb stairs with your luggage. Parking was available across the street.
The sheets on the bed were ripped and the mattress had some light stains on it. The host was easy to contact and worked with us on this issue.

The location is excellent and very central. The apartment is convenient and comfortable, and the host was communicative and helpful, and we only had one slight problem which the host resolved very quickly.
The kitchen area in our particular apartment could have been slightly bigger

Check in time way too late 1730??? Beams in the loft were in the way of everything. Sockets close to sink was dangerous.
