Church View Irene Court Cockermouth

Keyless access was very convenient. Parking was private and fine. Beds were comfortable. All facilities were generally fine.

A coffee machine was provided but no pods, and no prior information which would have allowed us to bring our own. Kitchen equipment was fine but aluminium foil and food bags would have helped. One of our hand towels was badly ripped. It was great to be messaged with directions from the main street (as this address is not well served by Google maps) but as the message came while driving, I missed it and had to work it out myself.

A very neat little apartment with two tidy bedrooms (one double, one twin, ideal for a family of four), shower/bathroom and an open-plan lounge/diner/kitchen space. The beds were very comfortable, and the lounge/diner/kitchen was well kitted out and easy to use. Amazing location for us, as we were doing things in Keswick. There are nice riverside walks and plenty of eateries (and takeaways) nearby, making it pleasant to stay in Cockermouth, too.

Would've liked to have had teabags in the property on arrival (there was green tea and plenty of coffee). That said, there's a mini-mart a two-minute walk away, so this was easily fixed. Also, the Nespresso-style coffee machine could do with having an instruction manual to hand, as I simply couldn't get it to work.

Great location, very comfortable bed, and lots of utensils and tools in the kitchen to cook with which was helpful.

Windows very stiff, and internal doors wouldn’t shut properly so kept banging throughout the night.
