APT. STONE-LODGE

The apartment was spacious, quiet and comfortable, with a spectacular view of the fortress and a great location. Superbly renovated and beautifully presented, on a special street with easy access to everything Salzburg has to offer.

I might say the steep internal stairs but they add to the charm

Its location and quaint features. Not in the old town but just across the Mozart walking bridge.

Not really a problem but be aware access within the property is via fairly steep stairs, so could be an issue for some getting luggage to and from the apartment.

There is no elevator coz its a heritage property, becomes little challenging if u have big luggages!! Rest all good!!

The location was excellent for getting around Salzburg. Down a very cute historic side road on the other side of the river from the Old Town but totally accessible to everywhere. The bed was really comfy, shower nice and strong. The kitchette is tiny but manageable. We were able to cook simple meals when we did not want to go out at night. Supermarket was nearby to purchase most things we needed. Whilst we didnt see Kersten very often, she did help us with our bags on the first day which was nice and she replied quickly to any requests for travel advice. Would definitely stay there again.

The staris to the apartment could be a challenge to some, especially with large suitcases but considering the building was built on the side of the rock face it made sense. Small but annoying, the handwash dispenser in the bathroom is difficult to use and made a bit of a mess.
