My father and intially booked a week at the hotel. At check in staff gave us the best room to accommodate my father who has restricted mobility. Room was spacious and very clean. The hotel is 2km from Tarbert and 25km from Ballybunion which makes it ideal for exploring the wonders of both Clare and Kerry.
Breakfast is very good (Irish breakfast) with freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee/tea being served every day. We enjoyed our stay so much we ended up extending by three more days. Restaurant in the evening offers some great Indian dishes.We enjoyed our stay so much we ended up extending by three more days.

The Lanterns Hotel is very conveniently located. The hotel is clean and it is very easily to park and get settled in your room. The hotel is spacious and had a very nice breakfast. I will definitely stay a the Lanterns Hotel the next time I am in the area.
