Close to restaurants ,coffee shops,and shopping. Very clean is pickled Frog. Service fantastic. Recommend it again yes and going back to tassie in October and will book the Pickeled Frog again. I’m ne thing we ask the gate where the got out and in From could guests who never had vehicles use or given a code to enter,rather than enter waking up the frog.Comparing with other places to stay we’ve used all as we have travelled Australia,10 out of 10 for the Pickled Frog

We had a double room in their new extension in the car park. The room was a good size and reasonably clean. However, everything else was a letdown, and we weren’t expecting much to begin with. There were no floor towels or a bath mat in the bathroom, so the floor got wet. The towels were old and scruffy, and it was hard to tell whether they had been properly washed. The pillows were wafer-thin and uncomfortable. Even a cheap pillow from Kmart would have been better. The fridge door jammed into the carpet when opening. The walls were thin, so you could easily hear noise from outside the room. Basically, they put no care into the room or the facilities.
