We had an evening meal the food and breakfast was very good. There was a wedding on the Saturday which didn't disturb us
We had a chipped glass in the bathroom, we asked for a replacement, a number of times, it never was replaced.
The spar was being repaired, structural engineers called in, sounds like a long job - no mention when we booked

My small issue was I could hear the next rooms bathroom so a little better sound proofing needed.

Location
Booked for spa however spa not open through the week, mentioned on check in however was told it states that on booking which I checked and it doesn’t it states pay separately , wasn’t offered anything complimentary to make up for this and purpose of stay was for the spa. Very disappointing with staff customer service . Stairs not available to use stated ‘fire exit only’ room very small and compact very old fashioned and dated but advertised as a 5 star hotel this was far from it! Reception and restaurant visually lovely but rooms a easy 3 star , no hand wash in the bathroom , bath mat dirty , radiator not hot , very disappointing and wud not recommend
