Not near the Harbour but a pleasant location none the less. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was clean. Rm 217 is a bit dingy with limited natural light.

We ate in the restaurant both nights of our stay. We enjoyed the food, the ambience and the friendly staff.
We chose this hotel because of the spa facility. Unfortunately the steam room wasn't working when we visited the spa. We failed to use the jacuzzi as it was occupied for our full hour by some ladies probably on a day spa break.
However on settling the bill, the spa fee was waved for us.
Our room was a superior room. We would have expected a larger TV, and appreciated a mop and bucket to soak up the flooded bathroom whenever the shower was used. We had asked for a walk in shower, but the drain didn't seem to accommodate the water.
It seems that this was a room for the disabled and this would be a problem for anyone who wasn't able to negociate the wet floor.

Lovely central hotel. We had an amazing room which was more like a suite (not what we booked but very happy with it!) Huge bathroom with freestanding bath. Super king size bed. Beautiful old building. Excellent value for money.

We arrived quite late (around 2:30am) and luckily there was someone to open up the door. We asked if there was a way to extend check out but this was not possible. We got to the room and everything was in order. Clean and welcoming. The only thing was that the bed was 2 twin beds out together and we couldn’t get comfy. Unfortunately the window was to the street and it was very loud all night and in the morning we heard doors banging which shook the room. Around 8:30/9am there was a loud knock on the neighbouring room and our room from housekeeping which woke us and we couldn’t get back to sleep. Quite disappointing for the price we paid.
