Het was heel erg fijn om een soort hele woning tot onze beschikking te hebben. Een ruime woonkamer met een hele grote bank en een tv met veel mogelijkheden. De indeling is wel wat gek met een keuken boven, maar je loopt wat vaker op en neer. Super hondvriendelijk en een leuke ligging, vlakbij het water (erg leuk wandelen) en je bent dichtbij de stad. Ook winkels en de bakker zitten dichtbij! Super fijn en vriendelijk contact mogelijk met de host.
De trap is wel vrij lastig en er zijn echt wel veel plekken om je hoofd aan te stoten. Goed oppassen als je wat langer bent. Er is geen parkeerplaats bij het verblijf, maar gratis rondom de straat. Het is er wel druk, dus in de avonden wel zoeken...

Lovely place to stay close to Mainz. The property is beautifully maintained and in an incredibly peaceful and calm location. It's next to a church so you get the bells as well. The property was very well stocked with everything you need and more - with plenty of kitchen equipment for cooking, extra blankets, and comfy sofa. The hosts were friendly but it felt like we had our privacy. The property is well located but it is a way out of Mainz so commuting is required - with a bus it takes around 15-20 minutes or you can walk to one of the regional train stations.
The property is about 10 minutes walk from some large supermarkets and there's some nice bakeries in the area also.
I'd highly recommend this place if you are keen to explore the area!
The stairs up to the bedroom/kitchen are very steep and you have to duck - I don't think it would be easy for someone disabled or with mobility issues
