Micheal served my partner a full Irish breakfast and I had grilled tomatoes and a pile of eggs. Everything was served very hot! The whole place was decorated very nicely, including our bedroom. Bathroom was huge! The location was very close to Cong, a very interesting and charming town. Also, I left a toiletry bag with some meds there and they kindly kept it and are sending it to me!
The only design element that I personally didn’t like was that the bathroom overhead light went on automatically when you walk in and didn’t shut off until you closed the door. I just don’t like seeing bright lights in the middle of the night. But many will likely not have a problem with it.

We really enjoyed our stay here, absolutely perfect accommodation.
Micheal was very welcoming and informative of the area, places to eat, walking, attractions etc. our room was beautiful, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed, including coffee/tea making supplies and a lovely selection of biscuits.
The breakfast was really good and Micheal was very accommodating offering selection of breakfast options. We had full Irish which was perfect.
I would highly recommend this beautiful home to family and friends and will stay here again next time we are down this way

We liked the rural atmosphere and quietness. Room was very comfortable, breakfast was great - far more on offer than you could hope to eat. Geraldine and Michael were wonderful hosts - made us feel so welcome. It was like a home from home.
The location was great for visiting Connemara but allowed easy access to visit the wider area.
