Camps Bay Beach Apartment

A fab 3 bed apartment, 2 mins walk from the restaurants of Camps Bay. The third self contained bedroom is located off an enclosed patio ideal for an older teenager or young adult. The garage with electric door provide reassuring security for a hire car. We felt very safe. The supermarket is 3 mins walk away. It is ideally located for buses into town or the sightseeing bus. It has a fabulous patio with BBQ with views of the 12 apostles and the sea and famous Camps Bay sunsets. Despite being so close to the centre of Camps Bay we were not disturbed by any noise. Beach towels are provided as well as a very well stocked kitchen in terms of cutlery etc. There is a washer /drier as well as an airer and washing line in a private secure sunny patio at the rear. There is also an ironing board and iron and hairdryer. The apartment has a safe and an alarm. There were thoughtful touches with tea and milk and coffee for when you first arrived. The hosts set up a what’s app group for when you arrive which makes communication very easy and we found them very responsive and communicative during our 11 day stay. The wifi is good and there is access to Netflix. We appreciated having a bath as well as a shower in our en suite although the en suite bathroom could do with some updating.

This apartment was very conveniently located, right in the heart of Camps Bay. The host was very helpful. We appreciated the back-up lights for loadshedding.

I was disappointed that there was only one full bathroom for a 4-sleeper apartment (granted, it is my fault for not spotting that in the description) and the bathroom wasn't in the best condition (shower mixer damaged, light flickering, etc.). The second room was very small and couldn't even fit a suitcase. We also booked the additional studio room (2 sleeper) which had an unpleasant odor and, once again, the bathroom needs some repairs.
