We loved staying here for our family holiday. M. and Mme de Brunville were wonderful hosts and provided us with a delicious breakfast with home-grown greengages and freshly made bread. They were very friendly and we enjoyed trying to communicate, mainly in French!
The chateau was a very grand setting for our family holiday. We had lovely views of the lake, two ensuite bedrooms and use of the dining/sitting area downstairs. There were small villages quite nearby with the towns of St Lo, Caen and Bayeux a bit more of a drive.
Nothing - I think it would be challenging to get to / to visit places from if you didn't have a car.

Chateau stays are often amazing good value. This was no exception. Lovely house looking over its own lake, my beautiful first floor room the beneficiary. I chose it as a base to cycle to stages of Le Tour de France. Just brilliant in every way, typically generous French breakfast sending me on my way. I’m so grateful to my wonderful hosts
Any Chateau has a quirk or two. Just enjoy it. I did. Please don’t come here, I want it for myself!
