The host was friendly and easy to deal with. Breakfast was served in the room and was delicious - lots of choice and nicely presented. Mini bar with a few options for a reasonable surcharge.
The room is compact but has enough space to be comfortable. The washroom facilities were clean - no complaints at all.
Small downtown Voorschoten is walking distance and offers several decent choices for restaurant.
No complaint but more of a suggestion to upgrade the balcony as an extra space in nice weather.

We had breakfast in our room brought to us each morning. There were mornings we need to have breakfast really early in the morning and he was ok with that. It's right between The Hague and Leiden and Rotterdam and Amsterdam. It's a good location for everything we wanted to do this trip.
It is about 10 min walk away from the bus stop and 20 min from the train stop, which doesn't sound like much, but after spending all day on your feet, it can feel like much longer than it actually is. Also, this is a minor issue, but it's the only thing I could think of that I didn't like.
