Die ruhige Lage mitten im Naturpark mit dem Blick auf das Meer ist sensationell. Die Ausstattung und Einrichtung der Wohnung ist sehr ansprechend.
91 Stufen vom Parkplatz zum Haus sind mit Gepäck eine gewisse Herausforderung - vor allem dann, wenn nicht alle Reisenden ihr Gepäck selbst transportieren können.
Eine aktuelle Baustelle machte es erforderlich, etwas weiter entfernt zu parken.
Leider war wegen der Baustelle auch der Bus-Service nicht vor Ort, sondern bedurfte ca. 20 Minuten Fußmarsch zur nächsten Haltestelle.

The location of this property was amazing. It has a stunning view over the water and is so quiet it gives a really opportunity to relax. There is a small pebbled bit of beach to get into the water so you don't need to trek to another beach for a swim. Being set in the park is lovely as it gives the opportunity for some great walks and runs.
The property is situated at the bottom of lots of steps so getting luggage up and down is a bit of a challenge. Being located in the park taxis cannot get past the barrier and so can only take you so far. Mostly this was ok as the bus stop was right outside and left every hour.

The property is a flat in a house that is located, among a few other houses, in Marjan forest park. You basically live in the park that is not accessible to cars without special permit, and then you have a small almost private (but accessible to public as well) beach. The property has old, traditional furniture and has a really cozy vibe with spectacular view of the Adriatic sea, there's yachts constantly sailing as you can see in the pictures of the booking. It's a really calm neighbourhood so you can really relax from the noise. Also, there's a bus or Uber service to go straight to the Split old town that is like 10mins away. For runners it's an amazing location as the whole park is a loop that you can run, hike or walk.
The management company is really the lowlight of my stay here, with poor communication and unclear random charges of 300€ (company claims it's a security deposit, but the 300€ charge is actually a subscription and the company is in control of charging your card). I ended up having to block my card because I have zero trust in them. Yes, I was given the 'deposit' back, but my now blocked card is in their system.
I was contacted by multiple different people that kept asking the same questions during the check in process, since the agents use the same account but it seems they cannot view history or check a CRM that would have all the information about what I have already done as a guest. It was a frustrating experience. You have to register your rental car with the park gatekeepers so they allow you to access the area, and I was very proactive with completing this procedure as I was traveling with a small child and didn't want any confusion. But the company failed to register my car on time and I had to wait, confront and negotiate my entrance. It was terrible.
The booking iteself is dated, so I understand why they need 300€ security deposit as the whole place looks like it's going to break if you touch it. There's electrical appliancies connected through open wires (oven connected to hob through open wires...) which seemed really unsafe to use. However, this is not as bad as the management company's communication during the stay, which negatively impacted an otherwise awesome stay in the park.
