We enjoyed our stay at the Barbie apartment. The location was good and the apartment was cute. However, we did have 2 issues during our stay. The furniture desperately needs to be updated. The mattresses were incredibly hard and there was honestly not a comfortable place to sit in the apartment. The futon was shot and had a spring coming out of the back. We ended up sitting on the patio furniture as it was slightly more comfortable. The other issue was parking. The owner told us to park in front of a shop nearby. We ended up getting a 40 parking ticket. So park at the marina (which she did mention, but then told us to where to park on the street too). That will add cost if you rent a car as there is VERY limited free parking nearby. Otherwise, we enjoyed the stay and found the apartment gave easy access to areas of town to tour, restaurants and the beach. We had everything we needed to eat in the apartment when we needed. We really enjoyed the view off of the balcony. It was also pretty quiet to be in such a busy area and felt very safe.
