the apartment was clean, well-kept and in an excellent condition. decent terrace, large windows. there is a free parking lot to the building. the views are breath-taking, simply amazing - this is probably the best side of the place. actually, everything was just perfect, but for the heating. the place is about 25 mins of walking from the central part of Cervinia, or 4 mins of driving.
for some reason, the central heating only worked between 5 pm and midnight and then from 7 am to 9 am. the rest of the time was off - it got really cold inside. to credit the host, he arranged an additional heater for us. unfortunately, that stopped working the day before we left. so, this is a bit of a set back, though i understand the heating is provided by the building management and not the host. the host, Paulo, maintains good communication but only in Italian - be prepared to use an interpreter (on your phone) if you don't speak Italian.
