Just stayed at a hotel in Huangshan and honestly it was such a good experience. The place was super clean and the room was really spacious. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful — she even suggested the best route for climbing Huangshan (Yellow Mountain), which made my whole hike smoother.
The location is great too, close to the bus stop going to the cable car area. And even though it was already near, her daughter still drove me directly to the entrance 😄 super kind gesture.
She also packed lunch and water for my hike (she has a small store, super convenient), and when she found out I didn’t have a backpack, she even lent me one. Really thoughtful!
They also arranged my transport back to the railway station, which was cheap and hassle-free. Overall, a genuinely great stay — clean rooms, good location, and a host who goes above and beyond.

Laoban (Owner) and his family are very accommodating. The hotel location is so close to the bus stop to huangshan cable car station. Close to the station yet close to shops and restaurant. Laoban could arrange pickup from and to Huangshan North Station (Speed Train Station), and also to Hongchun Village, but he suggested us to see Chengkan which relatively quieter than Hongchun and visited Huizhou City. We stayed for 3 nights and we had wonderful stay at this hotel. This hotel don't have elevator but they will help bring your luggage upstairs.

The family host welcomed us with great hospitality. Hostel place is very clean and is near the bus stop to Huangshan. Host even planned our Huangshan climbing route and arranged transport to and fro train station. Overall an enjoyable experience and will stay agn in future. Highly recommend this place to others

Owner will recommend way to hike Huangshan ( it depend if you are on day trip or stay over night on top the mountains) he will plan it such a way that you will be able to hike thru different route on the mountain
