About this apartment rental
A picture paints a 1000 words but memories last a lifetime. Why not make lifetime memories at this beautiful condo located on Lake Wawasee. This channel front condo is located on the northeast side of beautiful Lake Wawasee with a partial view of the main lake just across the street. When leaving the channel you will enter Johnson’s Bay one of the most popular ski basins known for water sports. If you would like to sit back and relax with friends and family then the sandbar is just a few minutes away by boat.
This condo has 2 bedroom/1 bathroom with a queen size bed, dresser and closet. There is as a leather love seat and a sofa bed in the living room that folds out into a queen size bed for additional guest. The apartment is ideal for two or three couples or a small family of 6. The bathroom has a custom-built shower and all new fixtures (see pictures). The living room has a 55” 4K UHD smart TV with Amazon fire stick and is Alexa enabled, an electric fireplace a brand new 96% efficiency furnace and CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING has been installed. The kitchen has been completed renovated and has stainless steel appliances (see pictures). The kitchen is equipped with coffee maker, microwave, stove/oven, full refrigerator/freezer, toaster, pots/pans, cutlery, and dishes. A private propane gas grill is provided on the outside . There is a front-loading stacked washer/dryer so you can do your laundry without leaving and going to a laundromat. Basic linens will be provided but it is advised that you bring your own beach towels.
This property is not suitable for a large group but ideal for a small family or a few friends who want to enjoy a weekend escape or a weekly vacation. The tiki bar and hot tub are on a lower deck that is a part of the owners residence, I have in the past allowed limited use ON OCCASION with advance approval for a short duration subject to availability and house rules.
*The rental rates are subject to change without notice prior to you confirming your reservation. There may be an additional surcharge on the rent if it includes a long holiday weekend . I may consider other custom monthly or off seasonal rates. I also have two other Condos on the same property VRBO # 482084 & ID # 1365563 so if you have a larger group you may consider renting one or both of the other two and I maybe able to offer a discount if they are available and depending on the time of the year. If you do not have a boat or a pontoon it may not be a problem as there are several Marina's in the area that rent them, I may consider renting a Tritoon ( Pontoon ) to qualified renters for select dates for an additional charge you can see the pictures of it posted on this site so please call me for availability and rates. I can also rent you some Golf Carts or Kayaks for an additional price please inquire.

Wonderful time here! My wife and 4 little ones (all 5 and under) were looking for a quick weekend getaway with our boat. After seeing some of the neutral to negative reviews I was somewhat skeptical but at this price point, this place is really hard to beat. Yes the property is not directly on the lake- and those complaining of that, it's clearly described in the details. There is a view of the lake across the street. What's more important is that it sits right on the channel and the owner has ample frontage for 4 decent sized boats (2 of them are his). Our 24 foot ski boat rested nicely there. The unit is divided into 2 condos and includes 2 small bedrooms, bathroom kitchen and living space There was plenty of room for my family. To keep up with the amazing homes surrounding the property, there are some needed updates planned but we found the unit to be clean, perfect sized, and the exterior was super cute with the included tiki bar, fire pit, and grassy play area. And what the property lacks in high end finishes is more than made up for by the gracious host Anjum. I really can't say enough about Anjum and how accommodating he was to me and my young family. We arrived later than expected - he moved his personal boats out of the way to make room for mine. He helped with parking my trailer and even drove me over to the local boat launch the following day so we wouldn't get lost. You can feel his passion for his property and guest satisfaction.**Highly recommend!

Great host, very accommodating and excellent condo. The tiki hut was a good place to relax. Great access to lake and the fishing was fantastic! We'll be back.

Upon first impression, the house was very nice and appeared to be recently renovated. The owner was very nice and accommodating.
I tripped on the area rug in the living room area and noticed another trip hazard upon entering the kitchen (the kitchen level was raised with a distinct lip).
Upon further inspection, I noticed an electrical outlet next to the water inlet for the washing machine. I believe this may be a building code violation. The flooring was new but was uneven in areas throughout the house. Many of the electrical outlets were not fully installed and were hanging outside the wall. There was no headboard for the bed in one of the two bedrooms and the frame slid freely around when getting in and out of the bed. Several of the window blinds were not functioning properly throughout the house.
The entire house was just not clean, particularly considering there was a cleaning fee. There were dead ants on the floor outside the closet in the living room and piles of what appeared to be ant-hills behind the main couch along the floor framing. My friends commented that maybe these piles were from termite infestation but who knows. There was also a musty smell, later confirmed to be coming from the old mop and bucket in the closet behind the main door. Cob webs were present in several locations and in the bottom drawer underneath the sink.
All in all this house has potential, if cleaned up and renovations completed. I think the trip hazards and potential code violation should be addressed immediately.
