We liked everything but of course, the garden is to mention as most enchanting and invites for day dreaming & relaxation. It has a stream running through which makes La Malposte a most magical place.

La Malposte is een charmante B&B met een prachtige tuin in een mooi en rustig dorpje. Centraal gelegen dichtbij de invasiestranden en vele andere bezienswaardigheden. De eigenaren zijn heel vriendelijke en aangename mensen en zij serveren een heerlijk ontbijt!
Inderdaad geen wifi op de kamer maar heb je dat echt nodig als je op vakantie bent?

This property was exceptional! It was a historical property set in a pictursque location. There was a small creek right beside the house with a little bridge over this creek. We were able to sit on a patio with a glass of wine listening to the gurgle of the creek. There was also a beautiful garden on the property. Truely an idyllic setting!
We also had three very tasty breakfasts which keep us going till about 2:00pm. We also took advantage of the dining room to cook 2 evening meals which gave us a break from restaurant meals during our 2 week trip.
The only thing that could of been better was a firmer bed. But this is a personal preference. We still were able to get a good nights rest in such a quiet rural setting.

A very beautiful place, with stunning garden - lovely sanctuary after a long drive.
Family suite was a lovely space, although the small bathroom with little shower area might struggle if you stayed longer than a night or two.
Location excellent, loads to do, very pretty village, plenty of facilities and eateries just a short drive away.
Breakfast was very stylish and delicious. Proprietors welcoming.
We had booked as somewhere that we could feel relaxed with dog and teen children (all well behaved). The area is not easy to explore with a dog so we hoped for a place she stay for a couple of hours whilst we visited museums - she barked a few times on the first evening and so we were asked not to leave her again which made plans difficult.
The website information didn't make clear also that the family suite was up some sets of old steps and steep wooden staircase - one of our children has some mobility difficulties and this was a hindrance. I imagine toddlers might find the same. Not a fault of the property, but that needs to be clearer on the website.
There were no tea/coffee facilities in the suite either - again not clear on the website.
A very beautiful place, clearly looked after with a lot of love and care - we would return as a couple but not as a tired family with a dog!
