L’emplacement exceptionnel. Dans une partie de Venice moins touristique mais aussi proche de tous les sites à découvrir.

If you want to feel you are really in Venice.. Here is the place to stay.. Its both Comfortable and stylish... Very Venetian. The little extra loft area has very little head room but adds to the charm. Windows give views over a little square and lesser canals... Altho a singing gondola did go past one evening.
My friends stayed on Murano in a modern apartment.. I preferred this. It is simply decorated to a good standard. Very clean. Nice usable kitchen area. Supermarket close by. I did get lost several times. But that's just me..than goodness for Google maps! The area has a lovely range of shops... Slightly less pricy than across the grand canal. With glass being made for all to see in the evenings. Thank you.
You do need to keep to the time it says to book in.. And book out.. Which is not always possible with flight/coach times.. Maybe contact him 'before' you book if necessary

We were close to the main attractions in Venice: Realto Bridge and San Marco Square. The supermarket Conad was in our block, it was convenient to get everything we needed.

Biscuits and champagne provided by host on arrival which was very kind. The court location made it secluded from the busy streets. Beautiful view and short walk to ferry station made it easy to get to film festival for my stay.
it may be a little expensive but it's venice, all accommodation is. kitchen was slightly small but fine for one person and short stays. i wouldnt change anything else.
