Le Icone is ideally located for exploring Puglia, with good access to neighbouring Cisternino and Ostuni. The property is well-maintained and very clean. There are two swimming pools! We found the staff welcoming and they offer a substantial breakfast in the morning to start the day right. It’s rare to find places to stay such as Le Icone.

The perfect place for everyone who loves the quietness and the calmness of the countryside life.
The cooking was really good, home-made, typical italian delicious. We were charmed with the lady, who cooked by her own.
The road to the hotel isn't the most comfortable one, but if you want to spend some days out of the crowded city, you don't expect to use only high-ways to go there.

The female staff were great. The shower was great but no exhaust fan.
We were given the room furtherest away from amenities. Recovering from ankle surgery it was extremely difficult to get to breakfast/dinner room & access pool areas. The MALE in reception refused our request for vehicle access closer to our room.
Even though our room was newly built it wasn’t finished properly. Gardens unfinished and no outside area for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. This place has so much potential but lacks proper management. It’s a real shame!!
1. We stepped into water on the floor beside our bed due to condensation on massive windows you can’t open. There weren’t any windows you could open. 2. No exhaust fan in bathroom or toilet roll holder. Had to put toilet paper on bidet. 3. No table & chairs inside or outside for relaxing unlike units closer to reception had. 4. A single sheet was put on our double bed!! This also happened to other visitors we spoke to. 5. There are no handrails anywhere especially the steps to the breakfast/dinner area. 6. White, pebbly stones everywhere to walk on. So hard to wheel luggage to outer rooms. Had a family with twins next to us. Can only imagine how hard it was for them to transport their belongings 7. For a new build I would have expected USB ports for charging. None. The few power points that were there were low to the ground. 8. No kettle for making your own tea or coffee. Only a coffee machine (you had to pay for this!) that took up valuable space on a very very small bench space that housed the tv. 8. Lighting was very poor - no light over bathroom sink & mirror (that was always fogged up), dim lighting in the large vacant living area that housed a sofa you couldn’t watch tv from. 2 bed side lights. The LONG pebbly walk from unit to amenities only had 2 lights on during the night. A hazard!!! 9. No toilet available in common areas.
