The view, the peace, the nice balcony to wind down at the end of the day, while looking at the hills really completed the experience.
On a more functional note:
I'm a bit picky when it comes to the kitchen of a stay and this had (almost) everything I needed and in perfect conditions. I only missed a scale and a pair of scissors, but it had everything else and more.
The boiler was big and hot water was abundant and quick to reach the shower, the shower had good water pressure.
Maybe it's stupid to point out, but I had stays were this was kind of a deal breaker.
A couple of small things here and there.
Because of the bedroom size I missed a bedside table or even just a small shelf to put my glasses and a book on.
Pillows were a bit uncomfortable (too soft and empty).
The light and fan over the cooking area didn't seem to work.

It was a simple, lovely guesthouse out in forested area by auto about 20 minutes from Gate #1 of Pletvice Jezera National Park. It is up a narrow winding rural road. I don't recommend arrival at night & in rain it could feel harrowing. Need GPS for sure. Not close go dining, gas or groceries so bring yours along. Nice little kitchen. Nice host helped with explore the park plan & a place for nearby dinner. All messages & questions to host answsred near immediately. Easy check in.
Would be nice to have a small couch. No bath soap or shampoo provided. In our bedroom you can bump your head on the slanted attic walls. Worst: a raised wood threshold into bathroom, quite a trip hazard in the night. Bring a flashlight.

Excellent property! We stayed with 2 small kids in room 2. It has a small kitchenette, a queen bed and 2 twin beds. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. It’s a bit out of the way, but it’s also incredibly tranquil and for the price can’t be beat.
