De Eindhovenaar City Apartments

Nice apartment, good location. There was enough towels and equipped kitchen.

The stairs were a bit hard to navigate with suitcases, but we knew that before making the reservation. We’re not sure if the heating worked because we didn’t spent much time in the room.

Owner was great really easy to communicate with and always quick to respond, easy directions and great space that was well thought out . Some great touches with the coffee machine

It’d be great for the bed to be double, and the walls to be a little more sound proof

The location in the city center was great - close to the church and museums, shops and the train station. The bus to the airport is also nearby. The view from the apartment and the terrace in front of it was wonderful. The apartment is functional and has everything you need. Amenities are provided in the kitchen if needed. The hosts are polite and helpful. A suitable place from which to explore neighboring cities and interesting places around such as Keukenhof, Amsterdam and Rotterdam.

The stairs to the second floor, where the apartment was, are extremely steep, narrow and winding. It was extremely difficult and even painful to get a suitcase up there. There is no wardrobe in the apartment, there is only one locker and a rack with 4-5 hangers, which is not convenient for clothes and luggage when staying for several days. Unfortunately, this central location was a problem on the day of the PSV Eindhoven football title celebration, as the city was completely blocked and the metal fences started from the entrance to the apart-hotel. We could not get home for several hours. During those two days, while the fences and celebrations were being prepared, held, and dismantled, it was very noisy, dirty, and crowded on our street and throughout the central area from early morning until late at night.

The location was great, in the very centre of Eindhoven with all amenities close. Generally clean flat and easy to get to.

On our last day we woke up to find no hot water was available and the flat was very cold. Thermostat was set to 15 degrees as far as I can see. We requested late checkout and we were asked to pay extra 25 + City tax for this, but due to the water and heat situation we left early anyway.
