A beautiful, bright and clean spacious house and apartment , with amazing views over the village and mountains above.
Perfectly located for visiting local attractions and for hiking.
The village is lovely and quiet, has 2 small stores ( well supplied with enough to keep you content ), everyone is relaxed and friendly, and keen to chat..even using a translation app.
The hotel restaurant is very good, and English speaking.
The hosts are absolutely lovely, Jenny is well travelled and is a classically trained musician, and her son Hristo has excellent local knowledge regarding tracks and trails.
Also, very biker friendly 🙂

The village of Yagodina is charming! It's very quiet and the people were extremely friendly. The scenery is like stepping into a postcard. There are great hiking trails, caves, and all sorts of things to do. The Guest House itself is great! The buildings are traditional Bulgarian style and the house is in a walled compound. Our room was beautiful and HUGE. The bathroom was very nicely done, and the furniture is great. Our bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it. Zheni and Hristo are the owners and they are the best! They made us feel completely welcome and we felt like we were staying with friends. The food was excellent and I recommend that you eat with them. 10/10 we will visit them again. The weather was great for our visit (mid-April).
Not much to dislike. The only thing I could say if I was to nitpick would be to make sure you have enough cash on hand. There is no ATM in the village and you'll need to drive to Devin to get cash if you run out. Just a helpful tip. Literally nothing negative to say about the Guest House or the village at all.

The owner/manager was very attentive and friendly. The house had a rural feel, which was nice. Great hardwood floors, antique home decoration. It is a good place to escape the noise of the city.
