the apartment was great, with a generous terrace and a great view, right in the city center with all restaurants nearby
Ali is always around to give you any info you need
wifi works well, and parking is available for free on a street nearby, there are plenty of empty spots all day
the walls are thin, and it's a bit noisy overnight, but not unbearable

O anfitrião, Ali, foi muito amável e prestável, sempre pronto a ajudar e a oferecer-nos um chá! A localização é soberba, o apartamento tem uma vista privilegiada sobre o castelo de Selçuk. Está literalmente no centro da cidade, chega-se rapidamente a pé a muitos e variados comércios, restaurantes, farmácias, etc. O apartamento está praticamente em frente à Basílica de S. João (património UNESCO) e a 3 km do espetacular sítio arqueológico de Ephesus (património UNESCO). A 4 km, a costa do mar Egeu banha a praia "selvagem" de Pamucak. A cidade de Izmir (terceira maior da Turquia) está a 60 minutos de carro (o respetivo aeroporto a 45 minutos), sendo também fácil chegar lá de comboio (do centro de Selçuk ao centro de Izmir). Nós optamos por alugar um carro, pois queríamos aproveitar para visitar outros locais mundialmente famosos, como Pamukkale e os sítios arqueológicos de Hierapolis e Afrodísia (ambos património UNESCO). Perto de Selçuk, há uma vila pitoresca rodeada de vinhedos e olivais que vale a pena uma visita - Şirince. Também perto, para o lado da costa, vale a pena visitar Kuşadası, uma típica terra de praia com excelente ambiente e bons restaurantes para quem gosta de peixe e mariscos.
Foi uma experiência incrível e estamos muito gratos ao nosso excelente anfitrião, Ali, e seus familiares.
A rede wi-fi poderia ser melhor. De resto, tudo excelente.

Lovely apartment with a stunning view from the balcony to the castle and aqueduct with the Storks building their nest. The owners were so welcoming and friendly and we shared several chats over Cay with them. Selcuk is a great little town with loads of friendly and excellent places to eat. A great base for visiting Ephesus and the surrounding area. Highly recommended
