Post Office Cottage

The cottage was excellent, very comfortable, very well equipt. We are fit ladies in our sixties fortunately because there are steps leading to the cottage to navigate. This cottage would suit a couple and two children but not two couples. There is an excellent pub at the end of the road, no need to leave the village. Shops a short drive away and very central for seeing the local tourist sights. We were lucky with the weather as we sat outside for every meal and chatted to the lovely locals walking by. We will definately be back.

The kitchen had everything you could have wished for except a cupboard to store the food!! Check in at 4pm is very late and 10 am check out early! Although host did email me to say don't rush but I didn't get that until I got back home.

Nothing everything was lovely

I really liked the size of the house, the setup was quirky but I liked it. Parking was a private driveway which was ideal. Communication with the hosts was great and they were available if I had questions. The house was left with tea/coffee making facilities and the complimentary bar of chocolate was a lovely touch! There is a park directly opposite so if I had my nephews with me, they would have loved that!

Minor - very minor - issue that you cannot watch the telly from the 2nd sofa as there is a giant beam in your way, but I took a good book with me so this didn't really matter.

Not ideal if 6ft+ due to low beams and there's a few steps but all very minor
