Stayokay Hostel Eindhoven

The rooms were clean spacious for all my friends and me. Angelica, the receptionist, helped us with the check in and with all the doubts and concerns we had. Certainly a great place to stay in Eindhoven

Pods were spacious and there's plenty of storage for your things (you will need to bring a lock for it tho). Plenty of bathrooms and great water pressure and heat. Clean too.

Unlike most hostels there isn't a kitchen (but a restaurant) or anywhere to heat up food. I found the man checking me in to be really unhelpful and didn't really tell me much about the space which is found annoying. The women on the desk the next morning were much nicer. Like the other reviews say, the pods do get quite hot so if you can't handle that, then this might not be the place for you.

I chose a room for 4 people with private bathroom and I can say it's a simple good place to stay in Eindhoven for 1 or 2 nights in quite good conditions. There were everything I expected, nothing more, nothing less :)

During the night there was to loud. The room is poorly soundproofed and all the sounds from the corridor can be heard.

Staff are friendly and available. The room is clean and the pods' soundproofing is acceptable. As long as someone doesn't snore too loudly you won't hear them. Inside the pod there's a single socket, a small net which is enough for a phone and small belongings — bed and linens clean. There are no amenities in the rooms, but this is understandable given the cost per night. Nice pub linked to the hostel.

The room temperature at night was absurdly hot, and since the system is centralized, I hadn't tried asking the reception. In addition, there is very little or no air exchange in the room, so if you are sensitive to strong smells (I hope you understand the meaning of this sentence), prepare yourself. Some lockers were unusable because they were locked with locks that made it impossible to insert your own.
