Good location, only 15 minutes walk to main attractions including San Marco Square. Lovely coffee shops, restaurants and bakeries nearby. Host was polite and helpful and responded promptly to queries.
Downstairs toilet/shower room was not usable. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable to sleep and not level.

The location is on the old part of Venice. supermarket very close. the apartment is in peaceful area, not many tourists around. but 5 minutes walk from busy area.
the apartment has lots of history. if you want to get the real experience of Venice, that is what you need.
staying in the apartment makes you feel like home.
if I go to Venice, this is where I would stay.
nothing worth mentioning.

the location is in the best neighbourhood in Venice
the place does not look like the photos online. the whole building is under renovation / construction and in order to get in, you need to go through scaffolding the whole building is covered with scaffolding.
