The house was very quiet while I stayed, it was kept lovely and warm and comfortable. I was in Knock for religious purposes - and Elsie, the owner, was very interesting to talk to and was able to educate me a good deal on things I wasn’t aware of and hadn’t already considered. I will most definitely be looking to stay at this guesthouse whenever I return to Knock.

Beds very comfortable, slept well. The room was clean and tidy. The hostess very friendly and nice. Breakfast could not be faulted. All food fresh and of a good standard.
Firstly, the bedroom door did not close properly, needed a good push, and had to be locked at all times, to ensure it remained closed. No clothes hangers, only hooks on the back of the door, and a few attached to the wall, no wardrobe. The en-suite, well where do I start. The width of the room was approx 3ft and the length approx 9 ft, which was taken up with the shower, toiled and a very tiny wash basin. The shower hose had to be taken down to use, as the head was directed to the wall, and would not stay in position, the shower tray filled up with water, leading me think that the drainage system was not proper. The wash basin, same, very slow to drain. The bathroom floor was uneven, felt like the shower/wash basin waste pipe was not sunken, but running beneath the floor covering.
