Our stay at Apartments Despotović was simply wonderful and far exceeded our expectations. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and very comfortable – it instantly felt like home. We had an entire side of the house and the garden to ourselves, which made it even more special.
We were traveling with our dog, and the host was truly amazing. She didn’t just welcome us – she cared. She met us at the main road so we wouldn’t get lost, guided us to the apartment, and took her time to explain everything. Our dog absolutely loved her (we think even more than us!), and the feeling was mutual. It’s rare to find such kindness and warmth when traveling, and it really made a difference.
She went above and beyond by telling us about local festivities, pointing us to the best nearby bakery, restaurants, and the closest grocery store. Thanks to her, we really felt like locals and not just visitors.
The location is perfect – about a 5-minute walk to shops, restaurants, and seaside promenade, yet still quiet and peaceful at night. Exactly what you wish for on holiday.
And the welcome! When we arrived, the fridge was waiting with a big jug of lemon water and a beautiful platter of cold cuts, cheese, prosciutto, sausage, pickles, olives, and fresh bread. After a long day of traveling, sitting down to that meal felt like being welcomed into someone’s family home.
We left with full hearts, feeling grateful and happy. We will definitely return – not only for the apartment, but also for the warm hospitality that made our stay unforgettable.
