Nice terrace and view, spacious, has all the basics. Quick drive to ferries or grocery, can walk down to lake and jump in to cool off.
Must have access to data/italian SIM card to communicate with host. Instructions for check in come last minute via messages (which we didn’t see while we were traveling), tax to be paid by pay pal(had to reactivate after years of non use), scanning/sending documents digitally. Not for digitally challenged. The apartment also smells a little like smoke, so keep that in mind if you have allergies. Drive uphill not for the faint of heart.

Świetny widok na jezioro, dobrze wyposażona kuchnia
Klimatyzacja dodatkowo płatna 50 EUR na dzień o czym nigdzie nie było wcześniej wspomniane. Jak na gotowanie dla 7 osób to małe patelnie. Bardzo wąski i stromy podjazd - tylko dla wprawnych kierowców i niedużych samochodów. Brak worków na śmieci. Ograniczony dostęp do grilla i leżaków dla górnego apartamentu.

Given the price range (almost € 1,500 for one week in August 2021), I would have expected a little more comfort in the home. At this price range, I actually expect that there is standard air conditioning, and a dishwasher in the kitchen. The apartment is furnished very basic, but that seems to be something Italian, because I have rarely come across a holiday home in Italy that makes you think 'yes!'. A lick of paint works wonders. For unclear reasons, the glass panels from all room doors were replaced by a piece of chipboard and, as mentioned, the doors could urgently use some paint.
The holiday home is within walking distance of Lake Como, you have to go up a very steep and narrow slope, which runs between two concrete walls, so there is no room to move. With a slightly larger car, that remains an extremely exciting moment every time.
The apartment also lacks a number of basic things: e.g. a trash can in the bathroom, mirrors in the bedrooms (only one room has a mirror) and wardrobes to store your clothes. You now have to hang it in a rack, where there is barely room to store anything. A broken toilet seat that shoots away every time you sit on it is also easy to repair, at least I think.
The view from the balcony at the first floor apartment was beautiful, full view of Lake Como, it remains a beautiful sight.
