Al Rol

The host was simply incredible. We changed the number of guests at least 3 times, booking, cancelling, re-booking. Then at the last moment one more person joined. The host offered to add an extra bed to one of the rooms, which I misunderstood, so cancelled that room and booked a larger one. He took the pain to call me to let me know that there is a cheaper solution for us and then navigated me through the cancellation and re-booking. Grazie mille! Al Rol is an awesome old convent, we loved it, with pleasant common spaces, a bike garage with sockets for e-bikes, we highly recommend it.

It is a nice and quiet place.

Breakfast was ok, it was the genaral italian breakfast whish is for us a bit poor, no meat, no vegetables, but more sweet things and cereals. However the host was very kind.

There were multiple insects in the room, the cleanliness could have been better. My daugther skipped the showere since we there was a spider and another isnect inside the shower. The bathroom is very retro, and not in the good way. The room was cold it supposed to heat up with an AC, but the AC was very loud so we couldn't sleep with that thing in. we turned it off but the night was very cold.
