The location is amazing - right on the beach. Like being at a beach front resort without the buffet.
Low water pressure fixed quickly.
Kitchen facilites were good.
We used the laundry which was $4 a load.
The first night we were there we noticed the water pressure was very low, wasnt until having a shower next morning that we realised how bad- shower was literally a dribble. However this was very quickly rectified when we text'd the manager/owner.

Delightfully charming accommodation in a stunning location. We stayed here with our two daughters aged 8 and 5 years, who spent many happy hours collecting shells and playing in the little stream in front of the hotel. There's also a playground right next door, which our daughters loved.
The location is also great for day trips to the wider Far North, like Cape Reinga and Matauri Bay.
Already hoping to come back soon.

The view is absolutely stunning 10/10 for that and the beach access
No water, seemed to have a plumbing problem the whole stay, water was not even coming out of the taps most of the time, made it hard for four of us to have a shower, oven did not work, only on a grill function and had no oven trays which made for a difficult time when we wanted to make a pizza, beds were very uncomfortable and there is no couch in the room, just dining chairs, also our towels were only refreshed once I messaged and asked on the 3rd day, bit of a shame because I see on other reviews from last year, the same issues that haven't been resolved, feel like it had the most amazing view and location, just a few problems that took away from the experience
