The farm is well located - close to different attractions such as Keukenhoff, beaches or cities (Amsterdam). I don’t think it’s exceptional because of you stay between The Hague and Amsterdam you are always close to everything by car. Very basic kitchen equipment is provided.

Unfortunately, there are also planes passing above the roof (the bedroom being on the upper floor) that we heard at night. and we often heard some kind of pomp and washing machine operate at night. You are also very close to a kind of aviculture so if you open the roof window because it’s very hot at the upper floor you hear those birds even at night and especially very early in the morning… The apartment we stayed in is very basic. The facilities are old and used. For example the shower was not a real shower but a piece of floor separated by a curtain like in a very basic hospital. The furniture was old and represented random various styles. That was our biggest disappointment- as the accommodation was judged “fabulous” on booking.com we expected something charming but we didn’t find any charm, any conscious decoration. The farm itself was not charming neither. Sure, there are horses, a pig and some sheep but we expected to see some cheese, to feel the atmosphere of a cheese farm. It’s more like a big hangar deck zone then a charming place to spend holidays in. The host offered us a piece of cheese once we asked about it but we didn’t get any explanation or description of it or invitation to buy some. We found then a very nice cheese shop in Ter Ar where we could have a very nice degustation and cheese choice. It’s very expensive for the quality you get… Also, we booked a flat with a double bed and a single bed. We received one with 3 single beds which we particularly don’t appreciate as a couple.
