We really appreciated having the following things .... private parking within Genoa that wasn't cramped inside and was soley for the use of guests; receiving clear instructions and images on how to navigate to the parking (thank you!); a comfortable sized bathroom; friendly and responsive host;, a spacious clean room; a comfortable bed and pillows; the room was well lit; we had a selection of some items for breakfast (eg ... corn flakes, yoghurts, milk, bread, toasties, butter, packet croissants etc); The internet worked fine! Thank you! We stayed overnight and didn't cook but for what we did use the kitchen facilites were absolutely sufficient. The location was great, really close to the aquarium and the Porto Antico. If you like walking I think it was about 15 mins to the old town of Genoa. (The old town is quite extensive). There's a tourist INFO point near the aquarium 5 mins walk away. There's a metro stop nearby 5 mins away. There are supermarkets, restaurants, cafes etc close by 5-10 mins away. Our host kindly provided us with restaurant recommendations. FYI for mobility impaired people, from the parking garage you walk along the streets for 2 mins and then you go up about 20 steps to access the room. There may be another route without steps but not sure, ask before booking.
All in all we liked the room and its funky decor. If one day the hosts do any upgrades, we'd suggest updating the .... small outdated TV to a larger modern one with access to streaming services; the small orange sofa infront of the TV which had no back support; add powerpoints beside the main bed for charging devices and a small ledge on each side of the bed; add light switches beside the main bed. Update the worn bathroom cabinet. These are minor things, just suggestions for the future. For now ... Fix / replace the wonky toilet roll holder.

The apartment was spacious, very well equipped, extremely clean, with delicious breakfast and located less than 10 minutes away from the Aquarium. Ulrich is such a nice person, so helpful and accommodating. He went above and beyond to make our stay great.
I can’t say anything negative about this property.

Host Ulrich is very caring and attentive. Studio has all you need for a stay including a small kitchnenette, fridge. Breakfast is provided in the room (loads of thins: Bread, Cornetti, Coffee, Milk, Juices, Marmelade, Cheese, Butter, Fruit and more). Beds are surprisingly comfortable. Lockable, closed carpark 20 metres from the stay is a big plus in Genova. With children location at the old port is perfect, a lot of restaurants, aquarium and a big playground within 5 minutes. Major sights are 15-20min walk away.
Only minor things. Arriving with car the streets look a bit shady and tiny, but manageable with a Van (maybe an issue with big cars).
Studio is on groound floor level and B&B in a tiny street, so not much daylight. Studio has all you need, maybe even too much (there a lot of toys, books, and more in the studio. Our children liked it, but it takes away space for example for suitcases). Curtains could be renewed as light still comes in at night (but as it's quite dark side street not much of an issue). Can't see staying here more than 2-3 nights though, as it's all quite tiny.

Proximity to aquarium, quite neighborhood, staff friedliness and helpfulness. Abundance of fruits and refrigerated items.
Ceiling of the facility not fixed leaving constant fear of which type of Beatles will fall off the ceiling. Bathroom with fungus. Devil is in the details.
