Majority of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, loved the liveliness in the lobby with various dance classes and board game gatherings!
The shower on my floor had no way of changing direction, setting, or temperature. It’s also a bit like ryanair of hostels, because you pay extra for many small things if you haven’t provided them yourself (for example, towels for the shower, locks for the lockers, and so on), this isn’t unheard of for hostels though, and the experience over the price that I paid was still worth it.

It was in the heart of lille and not in the mare village
And Judith was very kind telling me the where abous and helping me improve my French

It said it was busy and lot of people to hang out with. When I was there in early spring it was quiet. The surroundings were not very fancy 600-800 meters to the more activ area.
Old furnitures and the kitchen was a bit worn out.
