Thinking about the room we got and the holiday brings back a smile to my face. We had room 1 and it was so lovely! Really spacious and furnished with taste and love. We travel a lot, see a lot of hotels, and I found myself wishing all places could learn a bit from them. Every detail, from the cleanliness to the constant kindness of the staff, the comfort, the quality and quantity of teas, coffees, milks, the little badger mascot, everything was meant to make you feel good and it really worked! Thanks for a splendid holiday, we will surely come back!

We had a lovely stay at this delightful hotel. The staff were efficient and friendly, the bedroom bedroom was lovely. The restaurant was lively the service was good and the location was amazing.
There was scaffolding outside our bedroom window, which was not a problem, but unfortunately there was a large unnecessary sign advertising the scaffolder that looks the view that we had paid for.

We were lucky to have a beautiful sunny day in mid march, so not too busy. Great location , we went to Monkey World the following day, brilliant day out.
Breakfast not until 8.30, but not really a problem.

Location and cleanliness
The attitude of the staff int he evening was most strange- they wanted you out of the restaurant by 9pm and turned the Xmas lights off and locked the doors presumably to make you feel like leaving
