We spent 3 nights at Grand Hyatt Hangzhou, and what made the stay truly special was its setting right by West Lake. There is something very calming about the atmosphere here. Walking by the lake in the morning or simply looking out from the hotel creates a peaceful feeling that is hard to find in busy cities. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a pleasant stay. While the style leans more towards classic than modern, it still felt warm and relaxing. Service was attentive and consistent, making everything easy throughout our stay. If anything, the hotel may feel slightly dated in certain areas, but the location and overall atmosphere more than make up for it. Overall, it was a quiet, beautiful, and memorable stay. A great choice for anyone looking to slow down and enjoy Hangzhou.

The hotel is close to the lake, shopping facilities, subway. Your can approach the hotel via line 1 direct to the hotel. The property is well maintained with the 5 stars quality. The breakfast has the wide selections with quality western and Chinese food choices. The Chinese restaurant in the hotel has Michelin star rated, a must try place to visit. Overall, a highly recommended place to stay with 5 stars international standard.

19 March 2025 7:15pm I just came back from outside. My husband booked the Michelin star Chinese Restaurant for dinner, but i didnt know where it was or what was its name. I went up to Judy to ask. Firstly, she had no idea. She said Hotel doesnt have a Michelin Restaurant. I repeated my question in English thinking she doesnt know Michelin. But she still doesnt know! How can a hotel staff not know about the restaurant in the hotel?? And I was merely enquiring about where it was as my dinner reservation was at 7+pm.. While we still talking, a man came up to the counter suddenly and told her to handle his check in. Judy actually cut me off abruptly to tend to his check in without putting him in his place, that she was still tending to me!!!!!Just because she doesnt know where is the Michelin Restaurant, she could direct me to another personnel, not just cut me off and tend to the man unceremoniously!! So rude!!!! I have never been cut off this way before-especially not in Grand Hyatt ! I walked away in huff and went to seek directions to the restaurant from another staff. How can Judy be manning front desk. She lacks hotel knowledge, no basic manners and absolutely behaves like a brat. This is Grand Hyatt. I have booked 2 rooms in this hotel, expecting a certain standard of service. Judy deserves to be in a 2 stars hotel. Absolutely zero customer service knowledge. Extremely slighted and Furious.
