Loved the location and was very clean
Was really in the front bedroom as had to have window open as was hot so could hear everything outside people leaving pub

We'd like to have had much more friendly staff. With a couple of exceptions there was a distinct lack of smiles on their faces!

Our stay was wonderful on the first night but really poor on the second one, due to a large party had arrived. We were completely forgotten on the second night. With a table booked for dinner at 6.45pm , we got our main course just before 8pm and our starter arrived just after that. Breakfast was the same with great service then really poor the next morning
Some of the staff were not nice when we complained, and said it was our fault!!!!! We weren't the only table affected by long waits and some of the order not arriving.
