After arriving in Šiauliai tired and weary on the train from Tallinn, I was more than happy to undergo an unusually fast and friendly check-in procedure. A hot shower brought me back down to earth, before I passed out on the large and very comfortable bed. Breakfast started early, and was absolutely fine considering the provincial location, and when I needed some internet, the free wireless service was fast.
Some people will no doubt find the place lacking in something, but not me. Also note that the rooms can be expensive at times, but there are plenty of other options in town if budget is important.

Located in the city center. Good size room and bathroom. There was a desk and water boiler with coffee. Proper breakfast with hot courses.
The WiFi in the room was very weak and basically not useful.

Location, staff and breakfast were all good. Room was stuffy and had weird curtains below the windows which were basically for catching bird droppings. No lights on in the hallway. Overall had a very "Shining" vibe but we couldn't find any other accommodation so overall our stay was ok.
General lighting was very dark and there were no powerpoints close to the 'beds'.
