Riverbank was very quaint, clean and comfortable. We got our best night's sleep of our trip, with the window open, listening to the rapids of the brook next to our room. The room and bathroom were well appointed with everything we needed. But, what set the booking apart from others, was Tomas, the proprietor. Others have commented similarly, but he was EXTREMELY helpful even before we left for Ireland, providing detailed directions, making pub and restaurant recommendations and explaining how to secure a breakfast, given that that wasn't an offering at Riverbank. Just based upon the attention Tomas gave us before, during and after our stay, alone, I'd recommend this property.
Actually, there wasn't anything we didn't like. As mentioned, it was almost as if Tomas wouldn't allow something to happen that would disappoint us. If I have to mention something, though, it would only be the rain the morning we left. :-)

The input, help and advice I received before and during our stay from Tomas. He helped organize our plan for the time we were in Doolin. I’ve never received such personalized help prior to any other stay at any other place of lodging.
Everything was as expected and very fine. Explanations and instructions were always perfectly clear and detailed. We have no complaints whatsoever.
