I stayed here for two nights during a trip to Switzerland. The staff was not particularly friendly and little information was given at all about the stay or the property itself. On the first evening, we attempted to look at the menu for the restaurant on site. As we were looking through a woman rudely pushed us to the side and grabbed the menus from us without saying anything. Apparently, we were not welcome for dinner.
On the second morning, a woman was cleaning the rooms near us and a good morning from us was greeted with a very nasty look. We then asked for additional towels when she had a moment and she turned her back and we were ignored. (I should add that I speak Swiss German fluently, so language was not an issue).
The beds were the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept in during a hotel stay, both of us woke up with back pain. On top of that, the rooms were not particularly clean. There was visible dirt and debris buildup between the beds and the carpets showed dust buildup.
Breakfast was fine for the value, but the hotel staff did not seem particularly happy to be serving.
Location was good. I have no complaints there. We did attempt to try the restaurant again on the second day, but it was crowded with a group, including about five children and did not seem comfortable compared to many of the other places we checked out.
The final straw for me and the reason I wrote this review was my disappointment with checkout. Nowhere in my Agoda reservation didn’t mention on online fee on checkout. The hotel charged me a five Swiss franc per person per day additional charge for a “***********” fee. I did not catch it at the time which is my own fault, but this was a 20 Franc unnecessary fee that was not mentioned previously and also cited the wrong online source. Tourist beware of the additional charges.
Overall, I would not recommend this place and would spend more money to stay elsewhere.

Stayed in historical room in hotel from 1405 modernized with shared bathroom and shower. Clean and quiet room with views of the historal fountain running outside and cobbled street in historic old town Chur.
Walkable and close to Chur station.
Breakfasts were with healthy options and delicious. Dinners were awesome.
Brought my own toiletries which worked out best for showering.
The owners and staff was helpful and friendly for my stay. Especially helping with my luggage up the stairs as no elevator.
Guest card Chur provided with stay for min charge made exploring Chur a plus as half price forBrambruesch cable to top of the mountains for hiking and museums in town.
Was there on Saturday for the local farmers market in old town for a local experience and food shopping.
Wonderful visit of Chur in creation location.

Quaint hotel (no lift). Includes delicious breakfast. Great location right in the middle of business. Staff was excellent.

Eveything was good but the bed was, OMG creaky as hell. Making so much noise. We both lost our sleep. Didnt have good sleep at all.
