Great location, situated only a few minutes from the Valencia North train station and a short walk to the old town. The aircon was good and definitely needed. The room was clean and a decent size. Cafe Baldo across the street was ideal for drinks.
It's an old and dated property on the second floor. It was clean but basic.
The check-in procedure was not ideal. It's done through an app, but I wasn't confident with it. You needed to use it to open and close three separate doors. To set up the app, it required a user name and password (provided), which wouldn't copy across to the app properly. It was quite stressful, if I'm honest, and I just wanted a physical key or card. I was unable to get into the main door at one point.
The wifi code provided wouldn't work, despite several attempts. I therefore contacted the company via WhatsApp (there is no physical reception), and I was advised to scan a barcode located on the entrance door. This worked initially, but later that evening, it went off and wouldn't work again. Very disappointing.
The hot water took ages to come through to the shower. Not a deal breaker, but on top of the other issues, I wouldn't stay again.
