It was a very nice stay, with such wonderful staff. Nice to get back every day after a long day touring of in the city. Also good break fast
The widow was not so isolated from the noise outside, so we could hear the wind throughout the night.

Such a lovely welcome to this beautiful property - the team were so accommodating and made so much effort to make our stay pleasurable. Rooms were lovely - bed was superb - the views from the terrace was amazing xx
The location - although the team did tell us about a great pub round the corner which was we had a great snack at.

I booked 2 rooms - based on my stay last year but was booked into rooms 13 and 14 - must be the worst 2 rooms - but we were the only 2 guests in the whole hotel
my room, no 13 - I had the below experience
We checked in with an electrician still busy so the room was dark and I could not have a bath - which is ok
But my room had the following issues:
no soap in the soap dispenser at the basin
2-point plug was broken, the only one that could work with a mobile charger
had a bath later but the plug does not stop the water from draining out - not enough warm water for a very deep bath
the shower shelf does not fit properly so all the bottles are balanced on the edge of the glass - the glass shelf hang downwards
toilet flush stuck every time - must wait and press again a few times till it kicks in
The toilet spray bottle not working - can sort of press down once
basin tap can't turn to the warm option - with a lot of effort it can go to mid warm setting
switch at the bed at plug broken off - so if the charger is in one plug you can't use the other -
hole in my duvet cover - at the top - where you can't miss it - def. a cigarette burn
so overall all a terrible experience - although it was for a good special with my Booking.com status
