Great hotel,
Lovely comfortable bed and room.
I missed breakfast, my fault.
The hotel was awkward to find as it was dark and sat nav kept missing the turn off, but thats not anyones fault

Upon arrival we were met by a lovely young man who was extremely helpful and kind. He went home in the afternoon and was replaced by the rudest girl in hospitality. There is nothing to drink except tap water, unless you want to pay NZ$7 for the worst machine dispensed coffee ever. The only restaurant 100m away (attached to another Ibis???) Was a carnivores dream, but served nothing else. Breakfast I was informed there was no gluten free bread, I needed to tell them day before so they could get it from other Ibis. This chain is international, there was no excuse, budget was an understatement, but compared to other hotels at same price, massive letdown. The young guy on reception at check in was their only redeeming feature.
