Incredible location and lovely staff
The car park over the road is £45 per day an the next nearest one is a bus ride away

The location of the hostel is incredible, at the top of the pass and at the base of the Pyg and Miners tracks up Snowdon. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful at check in. Our room was very small but the beds were comfortable and we were warm, so not much to complain about really. We used the restaurant for dinner which served up pretty reasonable food which arrived quickly
It's a bit of a drag that there are no negotiated rates with the car park opposite. Paying £45 to park on top of the cost of accommodation turn this into a pretty expensive overnighter! We did use the park and ride which was only 5minutes down the road and much cheaper but you don't want to forget anything!

Fantastic location. Comfortable beds. Hot showers.
Unreliable WiFi. No deal / arrangement for alongside parking. Overpriced for a hostel. Slightly unwarm welcome (asked for ID before saying hello?). Recreation room cold and broken equipment. Self catering kitchen a long long way away. Doors slam.
