The villa complex was beautiful; the gardens and grounds were like our own little oasis. Loved the convenience of the restaurant and spa on site. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The villa complex had the perfect blend of privacy in our own villa, but more to gain from the common facilities. Our kids loved the pool, spending hours swimming each day. Perfect for a family, or couples who want a bit more privacy.
While the villa was very clean and tidy, it is in need of a refurbishment. I did notice that refurbishment had commenced on one of the villas so perhaps that is a sign that all of the villas will eventually receive a makeover.

We recently stayed at Lalasa for a combined Birthday and Honeymoon celebration. Overall, it was a lovely experience with a great atmosphere, but there were some operational details that could be polished for a five-star experience.
The Highlights:
• The Villa: The property is gorgeous. Our villa was private and the "Happy Birthday and Honeymoon" bed decoration was a very sweet, professional touch.
• The Spa: We had massages during our stay and absolutely loved them! It was one of the highlights of our visit—highly recommended.
• The Staff: Everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly and welcoming.
Points for Improvement:
• Menu Transparency: I ordered a fish poke bowl that turned out to be very spicy, though it wasn't marked as such on the menu. When I mentioned it, the staff noted that most of their dishes are spicy. It would be very helpful for future guests if the menu had "chili" icons or if staff asked about spice preferences!
• Breakfast Orientation: On our first morning, we weren't told we could order a main dish. We spent 20 minutes with the small buffet before a waiter realized it was our first day. A quick "Welcome to your first breakfast" explanation would go a long way.
• Maintenance & Construction: The doors and locks were very heavy and difficult to manage—we joked that you need to be a bodybuilder to lock them! Also, construction noise lasted until 11:30 PM one night. While the reception stopped it once I messaged them, that is quite late for a relaxing villa.
Final Verdict: A beautiful spot with fantastic spa services and a very kind team. With a little more attention to guest orientation and some maintenance on the doors, it would be perfect.

The pool wasn’t filtering properly or not at all on some days so we didn’t use it.
