What a lovely place to stay in Venice. It's a traditional guesthouse and is very much built in the Venice Style. The windows in the room have the double doors, the outdoor ones are timber and can be used to block out light if you want to sleep in. The inner ones open two ways so you can have some fresh air. It's nice to open them up in the morning and look out onto a narrow Venice Street and get a vibe for what is going on.
Maria the host is lovely, she communicates well via message on Booking.com. The cooktop in the kitchen is great, good quality utensils and plenty of food provided to make you feel welcome. Having nice, fresh olive oil and salt was great. Bananas, Apples, Oranges are some of what is available in the kitchen and it was regularly restocked.
Not much, I had a great stay. Worth noting is that the fridge is in your room so you need to store your food up there and bring it out into the kitchen.

Great quiet location in venice. Close to two vaporetto stops….one with no stairs!!! Great for luggage when arriving or departing. Little frig was nice but doesnt hold much.
My room was kid size but i am 5’2” so not a problem. Very nice private bathroom but the hair dryer is horrible!
Didn’t have “staff” as all communication was via messages but were prompt. Cleaning lady is great! She dint speak English but always had a smile and greeting and helped me get bags downstairs.
There were no great negatives for the price and location. The hair dryer is worthless!!
