Motel Viborg

Very nice location, in the nature, not very noisy.

I did not find how to turn on the kettle, but realized after few minutes the solution.

Nice clean rooms, bright. Rooms are cleaned every day. Because there is no reception or breakfast restaurant, it is s bit distant, impersonal. You meet no staff.

The breakfast was good

The rooms are very clean, roomy, and look newly renovated. There is plenty of parking. Easy access into the rooms (no stairs). The motel is easy to find.

Very poor sleep. I requested/paid extra for, and was assigned, a 'quiet room' but could still hear all the traffic on the highway which runs right by the property. Unfortunately, the highway is busy and has traffic on it all hours of the night. It was very loud and being a light sleeper, I got no rest at all. I was also not made aware ahead of time of the check-in process which entails showing up to a locked office, calling the number posted on the window and getting your room number that way. For an international traveller carrying a phone with limited local calling capabilities (I have a North American phone but switched to a data plan once I got to Europe thinking I would only need WhatsApp), this may pose a problem. So ensure that you are actually able to make calls within Denmark if you want to check-in at this place. And no, I did not arrive late. It was only 7:30pm.
